On Monday the 12 of September Turaki school had the crosscountry,

when I went to the grand stand I was excited. I was watching the other race's untill it was time for me to race.

When I got to the start mrs Simsan said on your mark get set go I took  off and Flynn was behind me and I didn't want Jole to go past me but he did and I passed him and on my third lap I went to the tank then to the finish line then I was watching the other races.

Financial Literacy

In room R this week where doing financial literacy. We had to go from CapeReinga to Invercargill with $2,000 each in only two weeks. We had to stay in hotels do ten tourist activities and pay for petrol. It is very fun and I hope we do more.

 

Room Rs Games

Around about when the Olyimpics were on Room R made some games. Everyone made a game to play for the school olyimpics only sack and egg race was chosen. There was five helpers to organise the game.in the game you had to hop in a sack hold a egg and spoon after your done doing that you need to race to the other side of the room and back.

Room R Flags

A couple of days after the Olyimpics Turaki School had a Turaki Olyimpics. Room R had to pick two countries. We choose France and Australia, half the class were France and the other half were Australia. After we split into the countries we made flags, one for Australia and one for France.Here is a picture of the Australian flag.

Room R's Dream Catchers

Room R has been drawing Dream Catchers with Miss Sherick we are enjoying it.We are going  to hang the Dream Catchers up in the art gallery when we are finished.Room R thinks they look really cool.

Room R's Design

 

This is some work our classroom has done. The boys in our class are doing prototypes for other things to do on the playground to stop kids fighting over the swings.

West Side Story

Room R is going to see west side story at the LittleTheater presented by Taumarunui High School.This morning we really cant wait till we see the students perform.

The School Probolem

At school students are fighting over the swings.Boys in Room R need to do something to fix this problem so the boys are going to design a new peace of equiptment to go in the playground.Girls in Room R need to design a new uniform that won't get stains so easly.This will be a bit harder because

they need to make a uniform for boys and girls that looks the same.

Dream Catchers

In Room R we are going to be making or drawing dream catchers.Some students are bringing thiers from home.When we have finished the dream catchers they will be taken to the art gallery.

Room R's Metre Chart

Today Room R student's made a metre chart.They measured items around the class you had to measure Less than a metre,Very close to a metre and Longer than a metre.We really enjoyed it😄.

Room R's Anzac Place Mats

This is Room R's ANZAC place mats Room R made them with water paint,paper,black paper cutouts,pastel and an ANZAC poem,Room R also laminated them.

Room Rs Feeling Appple.

The apples are to show how you feel when you are upset like that if someone bullies you,you look at the apple and you will feel better because it will remind you about what you do if you get bullied.
